This project is a year-long documentation of the processes involved in salvaging a 200 year-old Douglas Fir tree from the renowned Stanley Park.  In collaboration with graphic designer, Max Olson and with the help of the City of Vancouver, and the University of British Columbia Wood Research Centre, this fallen tree was transformed from its raw material state into a line of fine furniture, alongside a 100 page book and series of accompanying short films.
